Flower Basket shawl

I love lace. I started the Flower Basket Shawl this morning, a pattern from one of my favorite designers, Evelyn Clark. I am using the Noro Kureyon Sock yarn that I’ve been coveting since its arrival at the shop. It’s gotten mixed reviews by our customers. Some have said its too itchy, others adore the famous Noro color ways. I am with the latter group.
This is my color - beautiful!

We can’t wait for the new Silk Garden Sock yarn to arrive. Hopefully, it will be this month. Stay tuned. My Log Cabin scarf knit with Manos Silk Blend, is on hold. The new colors are in transit from the distributor. A beautiful yarn, very nice to work with.

Five Years and Counting...

The Black Sheep Knitting Company is celebrating its fifth anniversary this week.  Susan and I want to thank our fantastic staff and loyal customers.  Its been a wonderful five years, with many more to come!  We've had more fun and laughs than we ever thought possible.   
This blog will take us into the future.  Stay tuned for shop updates, photos, class info and staff favorites.
